IDUG Db2 Fundamentals

The IDUG z/OS and LUW Fundamentals Courses are available exclusively at our flagship events. These in-person only training sessions run parallel to our planned sessions. Fundamentals registrants are eligible to test at the end of week at no additional cost. Offered at both IDUG NA and IDUG EMEA, the IDUG Db2 Fundamentals gives the user an opportunity to experience the IDUG conference and expand their network while working honing their skills. 

The IDUG Db2 Fundamentals for z/OS Course is designed for z/OS database administrators who need to acquire the basic skills required to administer a Db2 database in a z/OS environment. Db2 12 for z/OS beginning DBAs can develop fundamental skills or recognition through lectures and hands-on exercises of:

The IDUG Db2 Fundamentals for LUW Course is designed for individuals who will plan, implement, and maintain Db2 11.5 for Linux, UNIX, and Windows databases. These skills can also be utilized to support cloud based databases using Db2 on Cloud or Db2 Hosted environments.
